The ET48450-M7E65 is a high-power -48V DC supply and distribution platform built for telecom sites where several power branches, battery strings and critical network devices must operate from one centralized system. With a 5U subrack structure and a maximum output capacity of 24kW, the system is suitable for sites that need higher power density than small 2U rectifier shelves, while still keeping installation and maintenance manageable inside standard telecom cabinets.

 

A key advantage of this model is its separated power zoning. The upper distribution area includes LLVD, BLVD and battery breakers, allowing different loads to be assigned according to priority. Critical transmission or communication equipment can be connected to BLVD branches, while secondary loads can be placed under LLVD control. This helps extend battery backup time and protects batteries from excessive discharge during long AC power interruptions.

 

The system is configured with four MR484000SG1 4kW rectifier modules, giving a total rated capacity of 24kW. The rectifier module supports 85–300VAC input, high conversion efficiency above 96.6%, and CAN communication with the monitoring unit. Each module is hot-swappable, so field replacement can be completed without shutting down the full DC power system.

 

For site management, the controller provides LCD display, dry-contact alarm outputs and communication interfaces including RS232/RS485 and SNMP. This allows integration with remote monitoring platforms for unattended stations, transmission rooms and enterprise network power systems.
